manners
This week I read a book called ‘manners’ and it’s a guide book on how to have manners. It is a book by Karen Tayleur but she says the character wrote it. The character is David and he has no manners but he think he does so he wrote the book. He thinks who ever reads it will have good manners and may have dinner with the Queen or someone who is really important.
The main character is David and even if he tells lies or absolute truth, he is still a huge disaster. He writes how to have manners in restraunts, how to share and many other things. There are other characters that come but only a little bit like his neigbour Mr McCafferty and his nanny but their not really important.
The moral of the book is to have good manners where ever you are. My favourite part is when they it say’s ‘If some one has toilet paper on their shoe point it out to them. Chances are , they’ve haven’t put it there on purpose(Unless they have use the “ my foot got stuck in the toilet” excuse for being late to school.)
I recomend this book to kids 8 or over because there is lots of writing and many pages.
